Charlie Cox is president of Datatrend, and has served in the role since 2008. He’s responsible for leading the business, setting corporate business strategy and transforming the business into a solution-centric organization that aligns well with dynamic change in the market. He joined Datatrend in 2002 as a senior vice president of sales and marketing; Charlie has spent most of his time working with enterprise-level customers helping them understand how to leverage technology to solve business problems more efficiently and at a lower cost.
Prior to Datatrend, Charlie was vice president of sales for the Banta Direct Marketing Group, a large publicly traded print and information management company. He also was an executive vice president at Merrill Corporation, where his responsibilities included managing sales, marketing and strategic planning for different divisions. Immediately prior to Merrill Corporation, Charlie was president of Response Communications Group, a large New York-based direct marketing agency.
Charlie has been active in the professional community for many years, serving on many vendor advisory councils. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in fine arts and economics from Bowdoin College, and did post-graduate course work at New York University. In his free time, Charlie enjoys golf, sailing, traveling, music and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
