Rob Hill is director of OEM sales at Datatrend, and has served in the role since 2015. He’s responsible for all of Datatrend’s efforts to grow its business through its relationships with OEMs, as well as the ongoing development and maintenance of those relationships.
Prior to joining Datatrend, Rob served as the OEM solution sales director for IBM and Lenovo, a role he held for three years. He also has held sales executive roles at Avnet and Rorke/Bell Microproducts during his 25-year career. During his time working for these various companies, he’s been selected as Salesperson of the Year an impressive nine times – a direct testament to his ability to grow a business and deliver significant results for OEMs.
Rob holds a bachelor of science degree in management and marketing from Minnesota State University – Mankato. He’s active in his church as a leader of teams and boards, and actively helps fundraise for his kids’ schools. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, cycling, theater, skiing and spending time with him family at their lake cabin.
